AT&T Principal-Advanced Analytics in El Segundo, California

DUTIES: Build,

expand, and maintain AT&T and marketing analytics engine data environment.

Utilize latest technologies and expansive datasets of customer attributes

including billing, calls, device, demographics, usage, network, survey and

modeling data, etc. Perform Requirements Gathering and Documents creation; use

SQL (Structured Query Language); use ETL (Extract Transform and Load) tools

like Informatica; use RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems); perform

Unix scripting; use Scheduling Tools, including Control-M, Autosys, and Tivoli;

and perform Unit and Integration Testing and Production Support. Support

marketing analytics engine environment and data to evolve the frequency of

refreshes to near-real-time data availability. Perform automation and

streamlining of ETL for daily/weekly/monthly loads. Audit data and basic

reporting to ensure the accuracy of the data used for analysis. Implement new

data sources to enhance the capabilities of the team. Explore, evaluate, and

deliver new technologies, techniques, and tools to advance the capabilities of

the team. Create datasets and facilitation of presentation to clients through

data visualization tools. Develop visualization techniques to push data

insights further into the business and marketing organization. Analyze and

develop solutions for marketing sciences and campaign advanced analytics

organization. Develop scripting languages and ETL solutions. Interact with

stakeholders to understand the business requirements. Extract digital and

offline campaign related data from various source feeds and consolidate this

data and stage into columnar database. Then transform this data based on

business needs and create analytical tables for data analysis and data

visualization team to create dashboards. Build code with standard coding

standards and efficient method to achieve best coding performance. Automate job

run by creating scheduled job streams using schedulers like Tivoli. Perform

unit and integration testing to ensure code's quality and standards.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a

Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems,

Electronic Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and 5 years of progressive,

post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive,

post-baccalaureate experience in performing Requirements Gathering and

Documents creation; using SQL (Structured Query Language); using ETL (Extract

Transform and Load) tools like Informatica; using RDBMS (Relational Database

Management Systems); performing Unix scripting; using Scheduling Tools,

including Control-M, Autosys, and/or Tivoli; and performing Unit and

Integration Testing and Production Support.
