Manage a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a Senior Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience preferred.

Oracle Hospitality is building a new integration platform as part of the flaghip product called Opera Cloud, the leading Hotel Management system in the world, utilized by large Hotel Chains as well as regional Hotels brands and independent Hotels. Opera has currently more than 3000 interfaces to various vendors in the Hospitality space.

This position is for the leader of the Integrations team within Oracle Hospitality Strategy and Product Management team.

Responsibilities will include

o Lead and drive the integration strategy and product management for Oracle Hospitality. Responsible for the design of the right integrations cloud services to solve an industry problem.

o Responsible for the roadmap and priorities for all components of the Oracle Hospitality Integrations Platform: API sets, migration strategies from legacy to current cloud services, partner portals, software development tools to help other Hospitality vendors and customers integrate with the suite of cloud services for Oracle Hospitality. The Integrations team is working side by side with the engineering team to deliver highly valuable solutions, and ensure alignment between market requirements and delivered solutions.

o The Sr. Dir. for Integrations is also responsible for establishing and managing relationships with key strategic partners in the industry such as Ideas, Expedia, Duetto, etc. This will include a roadmap on how to advance the integration solutions with these partners for the benefit of our mutual customers.

o Lead a team of strategists and product managers as well as resources that will work with strategic partners to enable and expand the value of our existing integrations.

o Identify Innovative technology vendors in the Hospitality space, establish integrations, demonstrate and win industry awards built on our platform.

o Provides expertise and resources for the most strategic global customer projects relative to integrations. Provides PreSales support with opportunities

o Creates the right pricing strategy for Integration solutions offered to customers and partners.

o Works closely with the marketing department and PreSales to ensure proper messaging internally and externally.

o Key team member of the Oracle Hospitality Strategy Leadership team
