Eaton Corporation DC Continuous Improvement Coordinator in Ellisville, Missouri
Eaton’s Bussmann division is currently seeking a Distribution Center Continuous Improvement Coordinator. This position is based at our Ellisville, MO facility.

Supporting $300M+ in sales annually, the Continues Improvement Coordinator works as part of our Distribution Center team. The DC team is in need of process standardization of the operating systems and an enhancement of the shop floor current visual management tools need to reach self-managed teams. This individual will be responsible to lead the operating system implementation at Ellisville Bussmann Plant.
The primary responsibilities of the Continuous Improvement Coordinator will be to work with the DC team to implement process and procedure changes that drive improvements to operations management systems to reach operational excellence.

You will identify and lead key projects for process improvement throughout the distribution center that will improve key metrics including but not limited to safety, on time shipping and receiving, inventory accuracy, quality improvement, process efficiency, and cost.
You will develop standardized work processes to insure that the product is picked and shipped, meeting quality objectives through work instructions improvements and support training.
You will develop and implement operations process maps to standardize systemic operating aspect of the distribution center to improve connections and support problem solving actions.
You will act as a business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and counselor for the distribution center front line leadership teams.
You will participate in procurement, installation, and testing of new equipment, programs and processes.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required .
Minimum 2 years of strong experience in a Continuous Improvement or Industrial Engineer position is required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area will be considered for this position.
Experience in data analysis with ability to determine required actions
Operations Supervisory experience preferred
SAP and WMS experience preferred
