Eaton Corporation DC Supervisor 2nd Shift in Ellisville, Missouri
Eaton’s Bussmann division is hiring a 2nd shift DC Supervisor. This position will be based out of our facility in Ellisville, MO.
This position is reporting to the Distribution Center Manager, responsibilities include supervision and direction of 1st shift employees, maintenance of inventory accuracy, and resolution of issues with receipt, storage and shipment of finished goods using the WMS and SAP systems. The position will also take an active role in support of other activities such as continuous improvement projects focusing on productivity and inventory reduction.
You will ensure adherence to all Eaton safety and security procedures
You will ensure on-time delivery of customer shipments on a daily basis
You will provide support for training of freight and picking team members
You will supervise receipt and storage of finished goods, utilizing space in the most efficient manner
You will develop and implement procedures to improve the accuracy and control of shipments
You will develop and implement procedures to improve productivity in all distribution functions
You will maintain records to control attendance, punctuality and work performance
You will review and maintain in-transit reports daily. Determine problem areas and implement solutions through exception management using systems.
You will work closely/directly with hourly team members on tasks and issues faced on a daily basis
You will produce and maintain CDC performance metrics
You will Co-Lead DC efforts in the annual physical inventory and developing and maintain cycle counting program

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience is required
Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Ellisville, MO will be considered.
Must have strong manufacturing or distribution background
Solid working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems or ERP’s
Effectively leverages functional and cross-functional resources to solve problems, improve processes and meet objectives
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of employees in a multi-tasking environment. Superior organizational skills required to deal with multiple “high priority” duties
3+ years manufacturing or distribution supervision experience
