We are currently undergoing a nationwide search for a Cisco Contact Center Application Architect / Project Estimator, located anywhere in the US, responsible for accurately calculating the total effort associated with our Contact Center services and solutions. This is an excellent career opportunity for individuals with prior Solution Architect or Sales Engineer experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owns the professional services estimate process and leads best practices and improvements to process.

  • Utilize a complete design and architectural understanding of Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE), Cisco Unified Customer Voice Portal (CVP), Unified Communications to create Professional Services Estimates (PSE).

  • Work with Sales and Delivery preparing professional services estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements.

  • Evaluate and make recommendations for improvements to current estimate tool.

  • Lead the evaluation and RFP process for identifying a new estimation tool and drive the development of best practices and methodologies within the segment utilizing the new tool.

  • Candidate will work closely with professional services leadership in estimation process to validate estimates, receive feedback and as necessary, obtain estimate input from subject matter experts for complex estimates

  • Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical, descriptive notes and assumption information.

  • Tracks the professional services estimate process and deliverables.

  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

What skills you will bring:

  • Candidate must completely understand deployment methodologies for Cisco contact center solutions.

  • Designing, customizing and architecting Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise and associated applications

  • Ability to understand and read Cisco Bill of Materials

  • Elite experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Previous experience crafting or consulting on estimates

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including

o Attention to Detail

o Analyzing Information

o Development of Estimation Questionnaires

o Requirements Analysis

o Reporting Results

  • Ability to telecommute/work remotely from home

  • Travel requirement: less than 25%

Desired skills and experience:

  • Estimator experience in a Cisco Contact Center environment

  • IT Estimator experience

  • Project Manager experience

  • Experience with Software Estimation Tools

  • Designing, architecting, and/or developing custom IVR applications with Cisco Customer Voice Portal (CVP)

  • Designing, architecting, and/or developing custom agent desktop or reporting in a Cisco Contact Center environment.

  • Designing, architecting, and/or developing custom applications in a contact center environment related to Omnichannel, Work Force Optimization (WFO) and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
