As a specialized SCM Solution

Engineer, working alongside Oracle sales teams, you will lead discovery

workshops, be responsible for design & solutioning, present and demo at

senior level and run Proof of Concepts where necessary. You will be part of

large enterprise account teams, interacting principally with Account Executives,

SCM Sales Specialists, other Solution Engineers, Product Development and

Partners. You will also be a SCM Advocate: speaking at events, influencing

social media, working with partners.

What we are looking for: somebody

passionate about modern logistics, transportation management and trade

management, who can lead and evangelize internally and externally, embraces and

experiment innovation, can add to a strong existing team. Is dynamic and can

provide support thought leadership. Ability to persuade others through presentations,

demonstrations and written communication is a must have.

This is a Denmark based role, although

you will also work on opportunities in the Nordics. You should be fluent in Danish

and English.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing presales support toApplication Sales Representatives and Partners

  • Helping the customer identify thebest solution for their business requirements

  • Make superior presentations tocustomers and prospects

  • Run extensive hands on demos onSupply Chain and ERP solutions

  • Run Digital Transformation Workshops

  • Manage RFIs/RFPs answers

  • Assist the sales team in thequalification the sales opportunities

  • Becoming the internal source forproduct information

  • Being part of an InternationalVirtual Team

  • Provide assistance in thedistribution of new product information, selling tool creation, application workshopsand solution strategies

  • Competition Analysis

  • Represent Oracle as a credibleexpert in SCM Applications software

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Working in a relevant functionalrole within SCM, ERP or (pre-) selling application software into this marketsegment.

  • A successful professional, withproven experience in enterprise application software. Preferably in SupplyChain Solutions.

  • Knowledge about Cloud concepts andtechnology and experience in selling SaaS applications is a strong advantage

  • Your background could be from pre-sales,as a consultant, or in some cases as a business user of SCM solution

  • High energy and passion is a must

  • An analytical thinker with a provenability to translate complex business needs into feasible, valuable solutions

  • Knowledgeable of salesmethodologies, processes, disciplines, and have the ability to positively contribute towards sales

  • Good at building effectiverelationships with a strong customer service focus

  • Strong at planning and organizingwith ability to meet project deadlines

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
