Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients, at a functional level, to produce a solution that fulfils or exceeds their requirements.

  • Engage with customers to ensure service needs are being met and deliverables are of a high quality.

  • Be commercially astute when engaging and advising a customer.

  • Take full accountability for the solution design and lead the implementation of Oracle e-Business Suite participating to the delivery activities.

  • Continuously develop and maintain their knowledge of relevant Oracle products and services within the rapidly evolving Oracle Applications and technology stack.

  • Contribute to the growth of the Italian organization sharing know how, experiences and methodology.

  • Participate actively in the internal community and manage the re-use and knowledge management of their competency area.

  • Work closely with the account team and line management to exploit opportunities for cross and up selling

Brief Description

  • Working as an integral part of a project team, the Senior eBS Financials Consultant provides solid functional skills in the implementation of Oracle Financials.

  • Analyzes business needs to ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices.

  • The individual will be expected to be a self-starter, capable of managing individual work packages from initial scope through design, build and go-live.

  • The successful applicant will also be capable of leading Finnish delivery in the Oracle Financials space when necessary, and have a proven track record of consistently excellent delivery.

  • Recognized as an expert and able to contribute to design, configuration and testing in a delivery capacity using Oracle Financials, the applicant will have the opportunity to work on some of the initial Fusion Financials implementations in Finland.

Detailed Description

  • A proven track record of end-to-end delivery in the Oracle Financials space

  • Minimum 4-6 years experience with Oracle

  • A detailed knowledge of the Oracle Financials suite of products to design and scope client requirements, define and analyse user requirements and advise customers on implementation and integration of the Oracle Financial applications with reference to best practice, maximizing use of out-of-the box applications

  • Ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, preparing and delivering briefings and presentations for project teams, management and customers as appropriate

  • Strong analytical skills

As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.
