The Hertz Corporation Compliance Analyst in Estero, Florida
The Hertz Corporation is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join the Law Department Compliance Team. This position will support Compliance Team members in driving the company’s global compliance program. The individual will work closely with stakeholders from all areas of the organization. The position is full-time and based in Estero, FL. The successful candidate will be confident in their data reporting and analytical skills and will be a self-starter that accepts responsibility and ensures the quality of their work product.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Hertz Global Compliance Team by developing timely analytical reports that include statistics, trends, and other metrics to enable targeted compliance training based on subject matter and/or geographical trends.
Create and/or monitor substantive training materials and completion rates and track in-person training statistics and intranet click counts
Write, maintain, and support a variety of standard and ad hoc reports for the Compliance Team or Law Department and other reporting as required.
Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received, investigation outcomes, and resulting actions.
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual analysis of various data to allow a better understanding of how they compare to forecasted/planned performance and desired results.
Provide assistance to internal and external auditors during compliance reviews
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required or the equivalent experience
2-4 years of overall business experience is required
Ability to work with and manipulate large amounts of data is required
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively partner with functions throughout the organization
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Advance knowledge in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, v-lookups and macros is required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team
Enjoys a challenging and fast-paced work environment
Resilient, adaptable, flexible
Ability to handle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail while meeting strict deadlines is required
Ability to research and solve problems independently
Ability to convey knowledge to others in a clear and concise manner
