The Hertz Corporation Contract Analyst in Estero, Florida

General Responsibilities

The primary mission of the Contract Analyst is to input and maintain the system of record for purchasing contracts and related documents (Oracle Contracts Module or other systems which may be utilized). The Contract Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with contract processes and policies, maintaining electronic and hardcopy contract files, and inputting information into the contracts management system. This includes generating reports and analysis of contract volume, spend, risks and expirations; review and response to correspondence from stakeholders related to contracts as part of legal support for the company in its procurement needs. Additionally, the Contract Analyst will review contract documents for completeness and draft new nondisclosure agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and update contract log(s) tracking contracting volume and pipeline for legal support, contract administration, and contract status

  2. Ensure compliance with the contracting process to ensure document accuracy and process integrity

  3. Maintain and update Oracle Contracts Module in compliance with contracting process

  4. Coordinate accurate and timely completion of contract documents through managing electronic signature process

Maintain all documentation of approvals in accordance with contracting process

Mandatory Requirements

Professional Experience:

  1. 5 or more years of related work experience with contract management and administration

  2. Paralegal experience or certification is a plus, but not required

  3. Experience with Oracle Contract Module or other contract management system

  4. Understanding of Sourcing Contracts

  5. Experience with DocuSign or other electronic signature systems


  1. Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, contract management systems)

  2. Ability to research and solve problems independently

  3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, but can also work well in a collaborative team environment

  4. Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to ensure process consistency

  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  6. Ability to handle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail while meeting strict deadlines is required

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
