Hertz Development Program - Human Resources - June 2019 Rotation

The Human Resources Leadership Development Program provides a unique opportunity to rotate through the business while building an outstanding career foundation in a global Human Resources function.

The Human Resources Leadership Development Program is a fast-paced intensive program utilizing a balance of both on-the-job and classroom training. The program provides the analyst with a foundation of knowledge and gives them exposure to all the different facets of the business. This 24-month rotational program includes exposure to field and corporate operations to include Employee and Labor Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Data Analytics in our Human Resources group.

Complete the Human Resources Leadership Development Program core rotations of:

  • Business Partner

  • Benefits & Compensation

  • Talent Acquisition

  • Learning & Development

  • Labor Relations

  • HRIS/HR Shared Services

  • Data Analytics

Learn various staff functions, including operations, management viewpoints and company policies and practices affecting each phase of business

Work in a fast-paced environment, while providing helpful employee and customer service that enhances Hertz’s success

Complete Green Belt Certification with project completion related to human resources area of interest

Meet performance goals and objectives set by upper management and determined upon accepting position

Report on progress of goals and objectives

Monitor performance progress with leaders and key mentors

Maintain monthly meetings with assigned mentor

Effectively communicate the strategic mission of all projects supporting the advancement of the organization

Makes suggestions on improving work procedures and elevate concerns of development program to provide optimal operational efficacies

The Human Resources Leadership Development Program Analyst is a development position in the company. The Human Resources Leadership Development Program Analyst will rotate to various functions of the HR COE to gain functional understanding and after two years advance to a Human Resources Business Partner role.

Mandatory Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field required

Master's Degree preferred

Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred

Professional Experience:

Ability to demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Ability to multi-task, be flexible and adapt to change

Strong time management and organizational skills are required

Must have a valid driver's license, be 20 years of age, with an acceptable driving record

Geographically mobile for three years, including the two-year duration of program and the year following program graduation is required
