General Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to provide a high level of customer-focused HR support to the Human Resources organization. They will provide “one stop shopping” to the HR community by providing people related solutions that drive a high performing team. The Corporate HR Business Partner is responsible for driving and supporting human capital strategy and HR processes aligned to overall people strategy. This is a professional level position with generalist responsibilities that encompass providing guidance and counsel to HR employees, and functional COE leaders in the area of talent management, employee relations, compensation guidance, general leadership training, monitoring and resolving morale, work climate and leadership effectiveness issues. The successful candidate must be able to build strong partnerships and act as an advocate of the employee/manager relationship. Lead special projects as needed.

He/she will act as central point of contact and provide direct coordination and access to the HR Leadership Team and HR functional areas. Responsible for providing effective employee relations service by utilizing excellent problem solving and relationship skills, an in-depth knowledge of human resources generalist issues as well as policies and procedures, and knowledge of company products and services.

The Corporate HR Business Partner will work closely with HR leaders to support deployment of a comprehensive HR Strategy. The full range of generalist knowledge will be needed to drive a successful people strategy, performance management, compensation planning, talent development, and employee engagement activities.

  1. Aligning HR strategies and initiatives, diagnosing business challenges, exploring alternative solutions and recommending best-fit solutions.

  2. Work closely with business leaders and the HR Leadership Team to support deployment of a comprehensive HR Strategy

  3. Focus HR initiatives to meet business and employee needs. Manage day-to-day HR activities in employee relations, compensation, labor relations, benefits, staffing, training, and succession planning to support operational goals and business objectives

  4. Mentor, develop and coach HR employees and leaders by providing guidance, leadership, and coaching to achieve results that are in alignment with business objectives

  5. Employee Relations – Provide HR consulting expertise to all levels of management and employees. Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of issues and resolve through a systematic and analytical approach, including investigations

  6. Ensure consistent discipline practices and legal compliance

  7. Identify any compensation issues and recommend solutions

  8. Ensure compliance with Company policies and ensure a consistent practice. Identify problems central to business strategy and forecast potential obstacles to success

  9. Approve employment requisitions, participate in interviewing and career fairs when necessary. Ensures onboarding for all new employees is consistent as well as successfully prepares employees for their roles

Additional Notes:

Occasional travel may be required. Position requires the highest level of confidentiality and the ability to work effectively with peers. However, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision is necessary.

The position also requires excellent project management skills and the ability to conduct management training and presentations as well as provide coaching/counseling to managers and non-management employees.

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required

  • PHR/SPHR Certification Preferred

Professional Experience:

  • Three (3) - Five (5) years’ experience in a Human Resource Business Partner role


  • Cross functional HR knowledge

  • Working Knowledge of Employment Laws, talent management practices

  • Demonstrated knowledge of business and financial practices.
