The Hertz Corporation is currently seeking a Revenue Management summer intern to work for approximately 3 months in the summer. This assignment will be based at the World Headquarters in Estero, FL. Candidates must be able to provide their own housing and transportation.

The Revenue Management Intern will have the opportunity to support a diverse range of Revenue Management functions such as pricing, analytics, operations research, training and development. The intern will also be assigned to project work that will help streamline efficiencies in the department. The intern will have exposure to an employee population of approximately 600 Corporate employees (both front-line and Management) at the Hertz Global World Headquarters. The intern will be tasked with project work to help in streamlining processes for the Corporate Revenue Management Function.

This position has the responsibility of supporting the Corporate Revenue Management function as well as developing a better understanding of their own Revenue Management knowledge base. An Intern is expected to observe, learn and take on tasks that will assist the RM team in becoming more efficient and effective in their roles. The Intern will be expected to uphold the utmost professionalism in representing Hertz and Revenue Management.

  1. Testing of new software and systems.

  2. Assist with new/revised process documentation and training presentations.

  3. Analysis and reporting with new user tools.

  4. Assist off-airport team with summer peak pricing and yield management.

  5. Identification of underperforming markets and deep dive of pricing.

  6. Special Equipment pricing strategies for Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year’s holidays.

  7. Assist with other Revenue Management duties as directed.

  1. Must be currently enrolled in a Degree Program (rising Junior, Senior or Masters/MBA Candidate)

  2. Majoring in Economics, Business, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or applicable field

  3. Ability to uphold confidentiality.

  4. Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel required)

  5. Strong organization, communication and problem solving skills

  6. Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

  7. Prior internship experience in Pricing or Analytics preferred, but not required

  8. Ability to work out of Estero, FL WHQ location
