The Hertz Corporation Senior Digital Business Analyst in Estero, Florida

General Responsibilities

The Senior Digital Business Analyst serves as a business analyst for both minor and major projects for the Digital

team. This position is strategically important in driving Hertz to a leading class digital customer experience.

The position will define and document business processes and product requirements for the web and mobile

channels, marketing automation system, marketing campaigns, and other digital initiatives as dictated by

digital strategic priorities. It will also assist in all aspects of system development life cycle up to and including

post implementation support.

A successful candidate will be able to:

  1. Define business requirements for web properties and mobile apps for Android and iOS platform

  2. Use case definition for web properties and mobile apps for Android and iOS platform

  3. Analyze and design the “to-be” business processes in collaboration with the Continuous Improvement

manager and relevant Digital teams

  1. Work with various digital team stakeholders (and partners) to assess current capabilities and identify

high-level customer requirements

  1. Identify and define detailed digital channel product requirements and use cases in collaboration with

Product Management, Customer Experience, Digital Marketing, Content, and Digital Analytics through

interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions,

scenarios, and task and workflow analysis for major and minor projects.

  1. Create high level and detailed level requirements specifications for major and minor projects

  2. Generate business process descriptions and use cases which document business needs, rules and


  1. Identify and document constraints, assumptions and risks associated with business requirements

  2. Set up and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix deliverable

  3. Work with the project manager and other team members to define metrics and performance goals for the


  1. Participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the designers, and ensure a clear and

complete understanding of the requirements

  1. Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product,

performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing

  1. Participate in quality management reviews particularly reviews of the designs, prototypes and other

requirements work products to ensure they fulfill the requirements

  1. Serve as a resource for the change enablement team as they evaluate training and communication needs

and support the design and development of the training and communication plan and materials

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering / Marketing required

  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in a digital business analyst role

  • 2+ years of experience working in the digital space (mobile, eCommerce, digital platform, web)

  • 2+ years of working on Agile delivery methodology projects

  • Domain knowledge in digital projects and/or mobile applications projects and/or web projects

  • Strong background in business analysis and/or system analysis

  • Experience in producing clear product requirements, user stories and architecture diagrams

  • Knowledge of product management

  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of products

  • Working knowledge of the standard systems development life cycle

  • Functional knowledge of digital commerce business processes

  • Understanding of Agile delivery methodology

  • Understanding of rapid UI prototyping

  • Analytical mindset with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to interact with a diverse set of stakeholders

  • Ability to facilitate efficient and effective decision making

  • Fluent in verbal and written English

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Drive and ability to work under tight timelines

  • 25% travel required
