The Hertz Corporation Sr. Revenue Systems Analyst in Estero, Florida

General Responsibilities

The primary mission of the Sr Revenue Systems Analyst is to oversee vendor partnerships that provide price comparison shopping for the Revenue Management department. This role will conduct analysis, schedule implementation, quality assurance (QA), and management of existing vendor relationships for production pricing and associated projects. The Sr Revenue Systems Analyst will also work with the Director, Distribution Channel Strategy to maximize budget opportunities with the goal to meet or exceed the annual canvass shopping budget.

The Sr Revenue Systems Analyst will actively maintain the vendor pricing schedules for all brands, seek cost savings initiatives, maintain QA standards of deliverables, explore new vendor opportunities and assist management by providing key data reports, ideas, and insight. This role will manage all projects by work process, facilitating prioritization, and collaboration between vendor and the Revenue Management and Analytics team.

Additionally, this position will utilize and fully understand propriety revenue systems to assist in pricing and troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during long term projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Meet or exceed the annual canvass budget as set in conjunction with Finance by overseeing partnership maximization.

  2. Track and manage monthly invoices for approval and actual costs vs. plan.

  3. Maintain and improve current and new vendor relationships.

  4. Develop QA analysis on scheduled basis for deliverables.

  5. Revise and implement new pricing schedules tied to revenue demand while allocating expenditures rate in accordance with KPIs.

  6. Primary liaison between various internal departments within Hertz and the vendor partner.

  7. Lead project status meetings, create schedules, identify potential issues, and ensure on-time delivery of projects.

  8. Ability to quickly learn, utilize, and master proprietary revenue systems and functions.

  9. Continually coordinate long term projects with vendors.

Mandatory Requirements

Education, Experience, and Skills:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; fields of study include Economics, Finance, Marketing and Business Administration.

Professional Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, revenue management, or similar, with preference given to hospitality industry, preferably rental car, airline, hotel, or cruise line.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage partnerships

  • Strong analytical and communication skills. Familiarity with structuring business problems in ways to quickly reach analytically sound conclusions.

  • Strong time management skills and can lead discussions, meetings, and multi departmental teams
