The Hertz Corporation Transformation Manager - Operations Excellence in Estero, Florida

General Responsibilities

The Transformation Manager – Operations Excellence will report to the Director Vendor Management while supporting the RAC Planning Team and is responsible for implementing project initiatives within RAC. The Manager will lead and direct a team of stakeholders in the planning and execution of vendor transformation. The Manager will define methodologies for project standardization, prioritization and systems to capture costs to support corporate decisions on profit versus revenue.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Identify, assemble and provide leadership and direction to cross-divisional teams to ensure successful implementation.

  • Develop and administer systems and procedures that allow station management to successfully manage vendor performance and compliance.

  • Provide strategy support in the planning, coordination, execution and tracking activities associated with vendor transformation.

  • Develop vendor performance management tools and vendor training protocol.

  • Develop and implement procedures designed to reduce cost or improve service provided by service providers.

  • Plan, develop and implement vendor planning systems, processes and tools that ensure stations can effectively manage vendor performance.

  • Review and evaluate service performance to identify opportunities and process change actions for improvements.

  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor Degree

  • Previous project management experience. Experience working in cross functional teams.
