This is a leadership position in the Global Information Technology organization, responsible for strategic relationship management, delivery and support of IT solutions for the Consumer Domestic Marketing and Sales and Consumer International divisions. Responsibilities include the management of relationships with vendors, business area executives, other IT leaders and staff, portfolio management, goal setting, resource planning and management, solution delivery and support, and staff recruitment and development.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and business unit leaders to develop a clear understanding of business needs, ensure cost effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs, and respond with agility to changing business priorities.
As a member of the IT leadership team, challenge the status quo, bringing forward new ideas and driving the development of a winning future technology strategy for the company. Serve as a creative and innovative technology leader as well as a broad business and idea leader.
Work with the IT leadership team to develop and drive human capital management strategy, building skills and capabilities needed for success, as well as infuse the global technology organization with stronger competencies and leadership skills.
Create and execute short, intermediate and long-term plans developed with clear milestones aligned to the business objectives.
Define and deliver a comprehensive strategy and roadmap to support current and future business needs for the functional areas supported.
Prioritize demand, ensure appropriate resourcing is in place, aligned with the approved portfolio.
Leads the development of technology investment business cases in collaboration with the business and IT leadership team.
Accountable for business application portfolios including project delivery and ongoing support.
Manages financials, including the planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for capital and expense budgets.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering.
Fifteen (15) or more years of experience managing information related technologies and resources on a global scale.
Experience leading communications with direct reports, senior leaders, business partners, and vendors to ensure collaboration, efficiency, and service excellence.
Experience working with digital marketing and sales brokerage agencies as well as marketing and sales technologies.
Consumer Products Industry experience preferred.
