We have a new and exciting Finance Manager role that will help manage and support one of C&D’s new Power Brands! In this role, you will provide financial business partner leadership to assigned teams to analyze brand performance, evaluate new product initiatives, and drive profitable growth for our newest acquisition. We are looking for a strong, experienced business partner wanting to make an impact and lead the team through transition and acquisition. You will become involved in, but not limited to, pricing decisions and new initiatives to develop new products and services. You can have an impact on new business growth opportunities through development of business case scenarios. The position will work with acquisition management ensuring strong business fundamentals and continued brand growth and development, through the acquisition period and the future.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and designing planning and forecasting information and providing financial analysis and decision-making support for key business activities.
Work with marketing department to establish and manage overall Brand performance goals.
Develop procedures for measuring ROI on customer and consumer programs.
Provide objective financial analysis that drives growth and profitability.
Perform monthly financial reporting and analysis of Brand financial performance.
Perform monthly forecasting of Brand P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
Evaluate business risk, new product development and provide capital investment analysis.
Develop and maintain financial models used for planning and strategic decision making such as pricing, channel and contribution margin analysis.
Essential Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in finance or accounting, MBA in Finance or CPA preferred.
5+ years experience directly related to planning and forecasting in Consumer Products
3-5 years experience in a management level role
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of management.
Self-starter with proven collaboration skills.
Problem solving and negotiating skills.
Excellent professional written and oral communication skills.
Financial analysis and/or financial modeling experience.
Skills and Competencies
Ability to interact and communicate at all levels, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Must possess strong business analysis and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of SAP desired
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
This position is in Wayne, NJ with some travel to our corporate headquarters in Ewing, NJ.
