At Church & Dwight, we value talented professionals with a strong desire to make a positive impact in our company. Our Corporate Internal Audit team is looking for an inquisitive action-oriented Internal Auditor to assess business processes and foster impactful changes throughout the company.
In this highly visible role located at our Global Headquarters in Ewing, NJ, you will perform a wide range of SOX, financial, operational, and compliance auditing, leveraging AuditBoard and other industry leading tools. This position involves limited travel and reports to an Internal Audit Manager.
What you’ll do:• Assist in the assessment of company-wide financial reporting controls (SOX 404)• Develop draft audit programs, perform audit procedures, draft reports, follow-up on action plans• Document and evaluate business processes, risks and controls (via narratives, process/data flows, and other support)• Use problem solving and critical thinking skills to assess risks and controls• Interface with all employee levels and external/internal audit co-source Big 4 audit teams• Identify opportunities to utilize data analysis and visualizationWhat you’ll get:• Professional development via formal and OTJ training• Opportunities to work collaboratively and cross-functionally• Exposure to day-to-day activities of accounting and finance• Transfer opportunities to other finance departments• Competitive salary, generous PTO, tuition re-imbursement, bonus/401k match/profit sharing
What you’ll need:
• Bachelor degree from an accredited institution in accounting or finance, accounting/CPA track preferred• 1-3 years’ experience is preferred, including: Big 4 public accounting, consumer products, manufacturing, internal audit• Professional CPA or CIA certification or progress towards is a plus• Communications – organizes and expresses ideas clearly and with confidence to influence others
• Critical thinking – maintains curiosity and exercises professional skepticism• Business acumen – assesses and maintains knowledge of the business environment• Persuasion and collaboration – nurtures and builds effective relationships to achieve results
