Church & Dwight is looking for a hard-working, fast-moving Social Media Manager to lead development of influencer marketing and social strategy for the Specialty Hair Care SBU and managing a team of talented Social Media Coordinators who will engage organically with consumers, execute a multi-brand content calendar and social engagement campaigns. Our ideal candidate is someone who has demonstrated leadership skills and experience working with outside agencies and internal brand teams to manage strategic influencer and social programs to achieve our business objectives and move consumers to advocacy.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Develop influencer and social strategic plans for all brands.
Lead development of content strategy for each brand. Working with our Consumer Advocacy and Insights Leader to connect with the latest beauty trends and fully develop the annual content calendar.
Lead team to maintain social media accounts and grow community size and engagement including; planning content calendars, social listening, tagging, promoting user engagement and user generated content, blog, coordinating photoshoots, copy development for captions as well as hashtags, legal routing, and monitoring and implementing learnings based on analytic reporting.
Be the in-house Social Media expert while working collaboratively with our outside agencies and brand teams to create impactful and business building Social Media campaigns (organic and paid).
Be ready to take a “hands on” approach to developing Social Media content to help support your team when needed.
Help team manage blog program through team of outside writers including; topic research, calendaring including provide Keywords, Meta Titles/URLs supporting SEO strategy from media team. Review calendar topics monthly for brand consistency and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with the Sr. Associate Manager, Creative Services to schedule and fast track creative needs in support of Content Calendars created by you and your Social team but also comfortable using ‘iphone creative content’ for use as appropriate.
Develop strategies related to acquiring and cultivating Influencers on the brands that would benefit and unlock our ready-made access to celebrity and everyday stylists.
Coordinate with DTC consumer retention manager on sales/promos and create supporting assets to share out on all channels.
Use Social reporting tools to build reports and share consumer insights and learnings with the brand teams and agency partners.
Establish monthly reporting on channel growth, reach, and impressions, influencer reach, and shoppable post interactions.
Education and Experience
5-8 years Social Media experience
Previous experience in Consumer Package Goods (Household, Personal Care, Nutritional, Beauty) is required
Skills and Competencies
A creative spirit and a passion for storytelling.
Prior experience in managing a Social Media team.
A deep knowledge of and prior corporate experience utilizing existing and emerging social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok.
Demonstrated track record of success in developing influencer and social strategy and executing business-building social programs.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), iMovie, Excel and PowerPoint.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Passionate about providing our consumers with a great digital experience by listening, interacting and producing innovative content.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills.
