Role Summary:

The Senior Manager, HR Analytics & Business Solutions is responsible for enabling the digitization and retooling of HR through technology and process change and ensuring the optimization of existing technologies within the HR department. This position is accountable for understanding & translating HR strategy and business needs to a set of prioritized technology/business solutions, leading HR technology/business projects, and leading the strategy and execution of HR analytics and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with HR process owners, HR leaders, IT leaders and company senior management to identify business challenges, define the strategy for HR digitization and analytics, optimize existing technologies and investigate new technologies

  • Works with the HR leadership team to establish business cases and priorities for business solution projects involving technology

  • Serves as the HR business lead for HR business/technology solutions projects

  • Partners with IT to execute HR’s analytics strategy to provide reports, dashboards, and metrics that enable data insights for HR leadership and leaders of business areas

  • Uses fact-based solutions and the power of data analysis to influence changes to HR operations, process or programs; champions movement to an organizational ‘lead with data’ mindset

  • Provides guidance, training and subject matter expertise to teams in asking appropriate business questions, selecting the right metrics, interpreting the data and translating data into actionable insights

  • Facilitates and engages collaboratively in cross-functional teaming for the prioritization, design and development of business/technology solutions.

  • Leads/facilitates HR process redesign/streamlining efforts with teams of subject matter experts, including outside resources

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Ten (10) years of experience in HR strategy, HR analytics, HR technologies, and/or HR process design

  • Experience in the development and execution of an analytics and HR digitization strategy

  • Demonstrated ability in engaging business leaders to frame the right questions and define HR-related metrics, while leveraging industry best practices

  • Experience with Workday required; Workday technology product certifications preferred

  • Experience leading communications with senior leaders, business partners, and vendors

  • Experience managing a team

  • Manufacturing or consumer products experience preferred
