Logistics Policy Analyst

Work you ll do

On this team, you will have the opportunity to work side by side with clients to generate logistics policy, define and track logistics metrics, and develop and implement business process improvement initiatives for the Navy Medicine Logistics Enterprise. You will work directly with senior uniform military and civilian government staff from day one, leading meetings and shaping and developing deliverables. This role requires a Secret Clearance or the ability to be cleared. A Secret Clearance will increase your marketability and open up more areas of the Federal practice to you for future roles.

This role provides practitioners the ability to improve their skills in core consulting areas, including:

-Client presence and interaction

-Meeting and workgroup facilitation

-Deliverable development

-Strategic thinking

The team

Operations Transformation

Our Operations Transformation team focuses on transforming our clients core business operations. We advise, design, implement, and deploy solutions focused on heart of the business issues in specific sectors including Health Care, Banking & Securities, Insurance, and Energy & Resources. The type of work we provide to our clients includes Operations Excellence, Payment & Care Model Innovation and Emerging Business Models.

Our clients seek a fresh perspective on how to create a flexible, innovative business model supported by a strong operations foundation. Professionals will use their deep sector knowledge and technical business operations consulting experience to take a more strategic view of our clients priorities, helping them to prepare for growth, embrace the digital agenda and maximize operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Excellent client interaction skills

Ability to gather and summarize information into executive level briefings

Ability to work independently

Ability to work well with others and develop/share knowledge

Ability to manage complex project timelines

Ability to meet tight client deadlines and adapt quickly to client requests

Highly organized, able to manage multiple simultaneous tasks

Process improvement experience

Policy development/analysis experience

Detail and results-oriented

Self-starter able to quickly grasp new tasks and see through to completion

Knowledge MS Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Knowledge of SharePoint

Active Secret clearance

Desired Skills:

Experience in Military Health System or DoD

Knowledge of medical logistics

Interest in health care operations and policy

Knowledge of Deloitte Survey Tool

Knowledge of max.gov
