Job Description

CACI is seeking a Network Technician who shall provide Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support for deployable satellite communication systems, via telephone, email and/or on-site support in order to maintain operational status.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and support all telecommunications services on systems on land and at sea.

  • Provide support to equipment on ships while at sea.

  • Assist in the design of networks or portions of networks that include selection of hardware and software packages.

  • Assist in voice network reconfiguration and billing reconciliation.

  • Ensure that all software including network control programs satisfy the communications needs covering both the hardware and software installed.

  • Serve as a liaison to users, departments and vendors by providing the assistance on all aspects of C4ISR services and systems used throughout the organization.

  • Assist in service/system upgrades while being a team player involving C4Isr projects. Perform analysis in determining business processes improvements utilizing C4ISR systems.

  • Requires advanced understanding and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, and technical concepts obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active Secret with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.

  • Technical Training in DoD C4ISR systems to include Satellite Communications Equipment or Networking Equipment.

  • Must have a passport on hand.

  • Be able to obtain and hold a company credit card and be able to deploy to hazardous duty locations with short notice for

  • extended periods of time.

  • Twelve (12) years of hands-on experience with Joint Warfighter C4ISR systems to include three (3) of the following four (4)

  • areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.

  • Deployments may be to hazardous duty locations with short notice for extended periods of time including Naval vessels.

  • Must be a recognized expert who has demonstrated leadership in Joint Warfighter C4ISR systems development, logistics support or test & evaluation.
