Accenture Application Development Manager (Multiple Positions) in Florham Park, New Jersey

Position Title: Application Development Manager (Multiple Positions)

Responsibilities:

Application Development Manager (Multiple Positions) (Accenture LLP; Florham Park, NJ): - Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. - Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. - Maintain applications according to SLAs. - Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system rollouts, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications. - Identify and assess complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors and create solutions for implementation by the team. - Supervise a team to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications. - Conduct project and issue management (including status reporting, issue reporting, and ETC/budget reporting) for assigned scope of work and make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management. - Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience in the IT consulting industry. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the IT consulting industry.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: - Insurance domain for private risk management, commercial, and financial; - Utilizing Microsoft Power BI and Pervasive Integration Suite; - Utilizing Embarcadero ER/Studio, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Office suite; - Working with databases, including SQL Server v2012+, PostgreSQL, and IBM DB2; - Utilizing XML tools, including Altova and XMLSpy; - Supporting implementations for new solutions and enhancements with different methodologies, including Scrum-Fall, Agile, DevOps, and Waterfall; - Managing and assisting with change control and incident response using ServiceNow, JIRA, GitHub, ALM, and Visual Studio 2012; and - Project management, including resource allocations and internal processes using Microsoft project tool.

Must have 2 years of experience in utilizing Duck Creek technologies, including policy and claim components.

Must have 1 year of experience in utilizing Python and SPARK.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
