CACI International AONS-FTBLV-Task 13- Change Control Manager in Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • CACI International Inc. has an immediate opening for a Change/Control Manager located in Ft. Belvoir, VA to join our Architecture, Operations, Networks, and Space (AONS) team supporting the Army Chief Information Officer (CIO)/G-6 in the National Capitol Region. CACI provides analytical and technical services to the Army CIO/G-6 enhancing their Enterprise.

Join CACI in Support of the U.S. Army Chief Information Office (CIO)/G-6 to lead the Army’s network modernization to deliver timely, trusted, and shared information for the Army and its mission partners.

More About the Role

  • Responsible for configuration management (CM) of both developmental and operational systems

  • Establishes and maintains the consistency of information regarding the design requirements, functional and physical attributes, and operational information of enterprise configuration items

  • Works with developmental and operational teams to create and maintain multiple, disparate configuration baselines (e.g., development, test, production) for their systems

  • Recommends and utilizes automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures

  • Develops and modifies CM plans, policies, and procedures and tailor them to the complexity and scope of each developmental or operational system

  • Exercises CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems, from the initial definition of requirements and capabilities of system baselines through the end-of-life of each system

  • Conducts periodic performance of configuration audits

  • Provide work direction and guidance to others

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Cybersecurity or related field plus 7 years’ minimum relevant work experience, or MA/MS degree with minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience

  • Possess an active TS/SCI Security clearance

  • D 8570 IAT Level II compliance

  • Communicates clearly and succinctly both written and orally

  • Presents products and ideas in a business-like manner

  • Interfaces with client managers and system users

  • Develops the configuration management plan, processes, and procedures to manage the supported networks and systems

  • Works with technical personnel to gather data to populate and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)

  • Works with and coordinate closely with the asset management team

  • Provides configuration management planning

  • Defines provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits

  • Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into configuration items

  • Provides remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required

  • Interfaces with to multiple Army HQDA CIO/G-6 leadership or customer organizations
