What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI International Inc. has an immediate opening for a Senior Technical Writer/Lead located in Ft. Belvoir, VA to join our Architecture, Operations, Networks, and Space (AONS) team supporting the Army Chief Information Officer (CIO)/G-6 in the National Capitol Region. CACI provides analytical and technical services to the Army CIO/G-6 enhancing their Enterprise. Join CACI in Support of the U.S. Army Chief Information Office (CIO)/G-6 to lead the Army’s network modernization to deliver timely, trusted, and shared information for the Army and its mission partners.More About the Role:

  • Researches, organizes, writes, edits, and produces technical data for major publication projects.

  • Organizes material and writes descriptive copy according to standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.

  • Participate in the establishment of style guidelines and standards for texts and illustrations.

  • Provide work leadership for lower level employees.

  • Writing reports for senior leader audiences in the Army HQDA CIO/G-6.

  • Interfaces to multiple Army HQDA CIO/G-6 leadership or customer organizations.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years of experience.

  • Possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance.

  • Support the creation, editing, formatting, and delivery of documentation in support of assigned programs. Specific responsibilities include

  • Gather and analyze technical information; translation of technical information into clear, concise, readable documents

  • Develop graphics and graphical presentations;

  • Adjudicate final technical editing and formatting of documents;

  • Develop and enforce document format and branding standards across all program documentation; and the organization and configuration management of program documentation.

  • Conceptualize, quantitative, organizational, research, written and verbal communication, sound judgment, problem solving, and independent working skills.

  • Has interpersonal and teamwork skills to work with individuals and organizations, to include varying levels and types (Government, Industry, and Academia).

  • Ability to interface with diverse groups together evaluate issues and reach consensus across stakeholders.

  • Ability to perform complex analyses and to communicate the results using accurate, concise, and effective writing and through descriptive and graphical representations.
