CACI International Python Developer in Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Job Description

CACI is looking for a Python Developer with Qt experience to work in a research and development lab at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will become a member of a software development team designing and building modeling and simulation applications for our Army customer.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to mission problems

  • Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle

  • Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software

  • Designing and implementing python-based solutions in a microservice context

  • Execute in a dynamic environment supporting multiple projects

  • Support new development as well as operational efforts

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3 years of related experience.

  • 3 years of Python programming experience

  • At least Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in a DoD research and development lab

  • Experience working with Electro-optical equipment

  • Experience working with Matlab
