Job Description

CACI is seeking a Operations, Research and Requirements SME to support our government program located on Ft. Bragg, NC. In this role you will be responsible for the development of business process related solutions for a DoD customer. We are looking for a recognized master in a professional discipline.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Develops strategic goals and implements operational energy strategic initiatives in support of organizational needs in close coordination with customer leadership

  • Identifies and assesses potential power strategies, applies industry best practices and develops a plan/proposal to attain goals

  • Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business processes and workflow

  • Coordinates with business and/or technology teams ascertaining requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, execution of user acceptance and may coordinate testing, and system techniques and controls

  • Analyzes improvement programs and potential results

  • Facilitates and coach’s improvement teams

  • Independently manages and directs analyses of operational energy problems; perform cost analyses and modeling; and providing information required for the formulation of scientific solutions

  • Perform liaison with other executive/senior-level external Government and/or Contractor organizations at the direction of the government

  • Assist with expressing, coordinating, and refining requirements in response to changes associated with stakeholder materiel developers and requirements developers

  • Demonstrated ability to Identify, respond to, and provide support for various types of Operational Needs Statements (ONS), and Rapid Equipping Force (REF) 10-Liner requests from operational units within the contiguous United States and outside the contiguous United States

  • Lead or coordinate organizational response to these efforts by establishing and maintaining report with points of contact within the requesting unit and by coordinating government and contractor personnel from various divisions product teams, logistics and Fielding teams, technical management teams, and others

  • Continuously appraise and evaluate organizational mission and functional responsibilities using operational research, operational mission analysis, and technical analysis of systems to identify areas where technical, scientific, engineering, and acquisition actions are required, and provide advisory plans recommendations to Government leaders

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in a technical discipline with 10 or more years of direct, relevant operational energy or power generation experience

  • 10 years of additional direct, relevant experience may be considered as a substitute for education for highly qualified applicants

  • Expert level understanding of the DoD acquisition process (DoD 5000 series)

  • Current DoD Secret clearance

  • Candidate must possess knowledge and understanding of operational energy and demonstrated previous strategic planning experience at the senior level

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Best qualified candidates possess extensive experience supporting Army or DoD acquisition programs ideally in an advisory or consulting role

  • Recent experience supporting power generation, power distribution or related operational energy initiatives is highly desired
