Summary: TheComputer Systems Analyst I – Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing advanced technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of Company technical products, programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform Tier III problem resolution on the telephone with users, walks the user through a series of steps to determine problem and classify level, priority and nature of the problems and systems.

  • Possess a wide range of in-depth skills.

  • Provide expertise for the resolution of technical problems, troubleshoot products and modify products to customer requirements.

  • Provide expert and second tier technical support for the installation and repair of complex systems and outages.

  • Review system and configurations to ensure successful implementation of services into production.

  • Maintain system stability through advanced analytical techniques, timely resolution of incidents, and proactive maintenance to provide the maximum availability and optimal Mean Time To Repair.

  • Partner with developers and engineers to reduce reoccurring incidents.

  • Provide consultative assistance during off hours as needed.

  • Assist in developing continuous process improvement for support tools, troubleshooting techniques.

  • Collaborate and assist R&D in the testing and optimization of product support techniques and tools.

  • Communicate to appropriate internal personnel of issues at a particular account.

  • Determine the effectiveness of known solutions for the reported problem and apply these solutions as required.

  • Determine severity and complexity of a reported issue and if necessary escalate to the appropriate specialist.

  • Determine the troubleshooting workflow and organize support priorities.

  • Provides training to customers.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities

Minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED required

  • 3+ years’ of experience with Computer Systems Analyst I – Technical Support Specialist to include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Experience with providing client support for users on Windows network operating systems in a Windows Active Directory environment using applications in the Microsoft Office Suite 2013+ (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access).

  • Experience in implementing systems security to include managing and issuing passwords, establishing user/group accounts, and recommending and establishing file permission attributes.

  • Experience in creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.

  • Experience with scheduling, operating and administering multiple conference rooms and associated conference room equipment.

  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting multi-functional devices.

  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting wireless devices (i.e, cellular phones, MiFi hotspots, air cards, etc).

  • Must have the following Certifications:

  • Security + CE (Baseline IA)

  • MCSA WIN 10 (CE Certification).

  • Secret Clearance with a T3 Investigation required.
