Performs facility operations and maintenance activities at the CDTF. This positions primary duties are the oversight of the audio visual/CCTV systems which includes consoles, computers, control stations, cameras, DVR’s, speakers, monitors, etc. Additional duties involve installation, maintenance, assembly, repair, replacement, adjustments, test, and operation of IDS alarm system/devices. This position is also required to perform general maintenance activities.
Duty hours 0700 – 0345hrs
Operates, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs all audio visual/IDS systems and their related equipment and wiring.
Operates and programs multiple DVR and associated hardware (work stations, routers, switches) systems.
Load, mix, program, access video on computer CCTV systems.
Must become familiar with the design and layout of the facilities; to learn the locations of installed audio visual and IDS systems / equipment; and understand their operating procedures.
Maintain IDS/alarm system certification and/or training.
Site SME for recommendations of audio visual/IDS systems.
Maintain/repair/replace telephones, computer equipment, intercom system and speakers.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists maintenance workers in solving work problems.
Demonstrates attention to detail, good comprehensive and analytical skills, and excellent organizational skills.
Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools, computers and diagnostic hardware to perform work.
Other duties as assigned by Lead or Management.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

High school or equivalent education and minimum of 2+ years of work experience with CCTV/DVR/AC systems, software, and networking is required.
Must be a U.S. or Naturalized citizen.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a government background check.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a closely related field is highly desirable.
