Job Summary

AECOM is seeking Millwright Journeymen and Apprentices to join our IOL Kearl Project, for back to back Outages January 10 th – 15 th and January 20 th – 25 th .

12 hours per day. OVERTIME! CAMP! Flights out of Calgary and Edmonton!

May include the following responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret drawings and blueprints

  • Plan and execute repairs to facility equipment

  • Maintain equipment history records using manual and computer systems (SAP)

  • Ensure all work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner according to guidelines and regulations

  • Be involved with day to day maintenance activities

  • Provide technical recommendations

  • Schedule and maintain work assignments

Conditions of Employment for this position are:

  1. Qualified applicants who are offered, and accept, a position must complete a satisfactory pre-employment Background Check, which may consist of all or a combination of the following: Canadian Criminal Record check, an Employment Verification and/or an Education and Accreditation Verification.

  2. Qualified applicants who are offered, and accept, a position must provide evidence of a satisfactory Alcohol & Drug test in accordance with the Company's Alcohol & Drug Policy. In order to be valid, the test must have been conducted at the direction of AECOM - O&G Business Unit.

Minimum Requirements

  • Certified Red Seal/ Alberta Journeyman Millwright Certification or Registered Apprentice Millwright.

  • Construction Safety Training Systems - 09 (CSTS-09)

  • First Aid - Standard Level Certification.

  • Fall Pro

  • This position will be required to drive a vehicle on behalf of AECOM and therefore will require the candidate to submit a satisfactory driver's abstract for review.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industrial experience, preferably in a live plant setting.

  • Turnaround experience.
