Summary:The Senior People Analyst will conduct workforce analysis, human capital research and assessment efforts of specific scope in order to assist in the strategic decision making of DISA/JFHQ-DoDIN and their subordinate organizations, at the direction and discretion of the Government.

  • Provide for a more simplified means of conducting agency-wide or organization-wide manpower analysis, allowing the government to assess, plan for, and respond proactively to human capital needs and challenges

  • Develop a systematic approach, and associated metrics, for workforce tracking; identifying duplicative efforts and inefficiencies

  • Utilize a variety of technologies, processes, tools and systems, leveraging Human Resource data, to assist with organizational planning, at all levels

  • Provide a workforce analysis report, inclusive of workforce analysis/findings, workforce retention analysis, recommendations, key metrics, and short, medium, and long-term activities to implement recommendations

  • Required to support several of the short-term recommendations, through implementation, that have been prioritized by key stakeholders.

  • Provide business support that ensures adherence to HR programs, initiatives, and best practices

  • Lead the supporting, developing, and/or implementing human capital plans

  • Respond to sensitive and confidential issues and concerns raised by all levels of employees in a timely, and objective Maintain awareness of general employee issues concerns and recommend solutions to management to ensure positive morale

  • Act as an internal consultant to managers and employees providing advice on a range of organizational issues

  • Analyze and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations and goals for improvement of company’s personnel policies and practices

  • Implement strategic organizational change to increase productivity and employee satisfaction

  • Find patterns and relationships in data and applying statistical techniques to determine whether hypothesis about data set are true or false

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Analytics, or a closely related field. Master’s Degree preferred.

  • 7 experience with supporting human capital/talent management tools, processes and systems, including substantive experience developing and implementing Workforce Analytics and Workforce Assessment solutions.

  • Experience identifying trends, using statistical analysis, quantitative analysis, data mining, predictive modelling, and understand information that can drive business change.

  • Experience with qualitative data analysis, focusing on understanding the content of non-numerical data like text, images, audio and video, including common phrases, themes and points of view.

  • Experience with quantitative data analysis, analyzing numerical data with quantifiable variables that can be compared or measured statistically

  • Secret Clearance required, TS/SCI preferred

  • Ability to support surge hours

  • Ability to work nights, weekends and Holidays are required

  • Ability to handle large, complex workload, effectively coordinate multiple resources, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluation methods and techniques.

  • Excellent PC skills. Highly proficient in MS Office Suite.
