Lead Operations Analyst and Technology Integrator
AECOM has an opportunity for a highly qualified candidate to provide research, planning and analysis support to U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) and U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) in the area of operations analysis and technology integration.
AECOM is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to assist our Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO) Pacific team with operations analysis and technology integration support for land component requirements. This candidate will act as lead integrator for incorporating Office of the Secretary of Defense Strategic Capabilities Office (OSD SCO) US Army programs into operational relevance in the Pacific Area of Responsibility. Efforts will focus on providing US Army Pacific (USARPAC) and US Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) with research and analysis of existing and emerging Programs of Record (POR) and innovative capabilities that accelerate solutions to capability gaps in the Pacific theater. These efforts will include developing Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), and portfolio integration into field/command post exercises and other table-top wargame venues. This effort also includes capability integration into USINDOPACOM and Component exercises for operational demonstrations (e.g. Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE)).
- Minimum Requirements
This position requires a bachelor's degree and minimum of ten (10) years of experience supporting the DoD with at least five (5) years of experience working in PACOM specific topics.
Must have served on senior level combatant command or service command staff for a minimum of (3) years
Must have a range of DoD experience, which may include ISR, advanced weapons, targeting doctrine, etc. Applicants with U.S. Army targeting experience are highly desired
Must have experience with modeling and simulation efforts supporting force structure designs, exercises and/or combat effectiveness analyses
Applicants who have a demonstrated history of innovation are highly desired
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet TS/SCI clearance eligibility requirements for access to classified information
The candidate should be familiar with strategic and campaign plan documents from National Command Authority through Combatant Command and Joint Task Force level. They should be well versed in joint doctrine.
Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in order to provide information, articles, written reports, and presentations to include delivering executive summaries to flag and general officers (FO/GO) and Senior Executive Service (SES) level officials. Must have experience providing regularly scheduled project plans and status reports.
Must have demonstrated skill in using integrated software (e.g., MS Office suite).
Highly Desired Skills
Experience in developing Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) for DoD programs and capabilities
Experience developing combatant command or service component command CONOPs and CONEMPs
Experience with operations research systems analysis
Experience in testing technologies during command post exercises or table-top wargames
