CACI International Lead Systems Engineer in Fort Walton Beach, Florida
CACI is seeking an Lead Systems Engineer, to perform systems engineering and lifecycle management.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Conduct rapid engineering to solve immediate problems in response to operational incidents. Provide design expertise to develop, test and implement IT product solutions.
Conduct design reviews and develop solutions for existing hardware and software shortfalls.
Ensure all operating mission nodes (operations centers, airborne weapon systems, ground teams, and others) can interoperate and execute synchronized mission activities.
Provide higher order systems and IT engineering, analysis, and baseline systems development.
Establishing standard system architectures, developing hardware and software solutions, and analyzing items of interest for other command agencies in support of acquisitions and requirements processes. Develop briefings, system architectures, and risk analysis.
Responsible for applying interdisciplinary engineering skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions or products.
Perform analysis at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance.
Requires advanced understanding and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, and technical concepts obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Microsoft platforms, Red Hat Linux platforms, Amazon Wed Services, and Cisco systems.
Automation and configuration management tools to implement continuous integration and delivery models under DevOPS and Agile IT operations constructs.
Systems, IT, computer, electrical, radio/communications, and mechanical engineering analysis.
Integrating systems and applications into light, lean, integrated, interoperable, and scalable packages that are used in-garrison and deployed.
Bachelor’s degree, or higher, from a nationally accredited university in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an institution recognized by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) for an approved curriculum in these respective fields of study.
Minimum of 5 years Systems Engineering/FSR experience.
