The Cybersecurity Project and Communications Manager has global responsibility for leading various security projects as assigned, ensuring the CIS group follows best-practice Project Communications Management planning, and ensuring clear and consistent communication activities across the Corporate Information Security (CIS) project portfolio.
Be proficient in running projects that align to the vision of the Corporate Information Security (CIS) program.
Develop and execute project communications management plans.
Mentor and train CIS project managers on standard security documentation and processes to store, maintain, distribute, and retrieve information for projects and programs.
Develop and implement CIS performance reporting standards for internal and external communications.
Present regularly to CIS leadership on success of projects and CIS Program initiatives
Ensure appropriate communication tools and techniques are available and employed by the project teams to enable them to meet their assigned objectives successfully
Own business outreach for the CIS Program and manage & monitor the CIS Program’s social networking sites within Yammer
Liaison with corporate and business communication teams and ensure standardized processes and timelines are executed to deliver communications on-schedule.
Implement and provide metrics around communication effectiveness and drive continuous improvement in CIS outreach efforts
Create, edit, and own applicable security policies
Manage relationships and communication requirements with applicable Data Privacy Officers and Works councils
Masters and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Assurance, Security, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, or Communication
8+ years of related experience in Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field
6+ years of related experience in information security communications or journalism
Excellent customer service skills required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group; executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Well versed in content creation
Intermediate Project and Change Management experience
Develop attractive and effective graphic designs (e.g. using Photoshop)
Progressive experience in social & digital media communications/campaigns
