Summary of Internship:

The Cybersecurity Risk Management, Risk Compliance Intern will be supporting IT Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Risk Management as part of the Corporate Information Security (CIS) Program, as assigned by the Risk Compliance Manager.

The Risk Compliance team is responsible for evaluating IT Cybersecurity and Data Privacy controls and ensuring compliance with corporate policies as well as external standards and regulations. The Risk Compliance Intern will assist the analysts in performing control assessments in support of various Company initiatives, perform ongoing data gathering and analysis identifying and reporting overall compliance state, as well as metrics and reporting.

Essential Functions:

  • Support Risk Compliance team operational activities by assisting/performing control assessments within Cybersecurity and Data Privacy domains.

  • Assist in maintaining the control assessment workflow and ensure all tickets are actioned according to team procedures.

  • Identify, collect and mine data required for various facets of the Risk Compliance team (e.g. control assessments, CMDB relevant data, metrics and reports).

  • Gather and analyze and store artifacts in accordance with corporate CIS standards to ensure programs can prove and track compliance.

  • Perform other Cybersecurity Risk Management duties as assigned.
