Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

DevOps Engineer on Managed Kubernetes Team

Are you interested in building large-scaledistributed infrastructure for the cloud? Oracle s Kubernetes service team isbuilding new managed Kubernetes services in the quickly expanding ContainerNative Group.

We are looking for a DevOps engineer to helpown the deployment and scaling of our new services.

You will:

Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Oracle CloudInfrastructure, Prometheus, Grafana, Go, and many other modern technologies tobuild highly-available cloud infrastructure for Oracle Kubernetes Engine.

Work towards automating all the things,using code, existing tools, etc.

Lead projects and work directly within theservice development team.

Design computing systems that are highperformance, scalable, and fault tolerant.


7 years of experience in DevOps, SysAdmin,SRE, and/or Software Engineering.

Ability to both work independently withminimal direction and to collaborate effectively with remote teams.

Extensive hands-on knowledge of systemadministration and Linux/UNIX operating system core concepts.

Experience with large, distributed web applicationdeployments on AWS, GCP, Azure, or equivalent.

Experience in configuration management(e.g., Ansible, Chef, Terraform) and CI/CD.

Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g.,TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers, etc).

Proficiency in multiple programminglanguages (e.g., Java, C/C , Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Go, Perl, shell,etc.).

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes a plus.

Knowledge of automation trends foroperational security processes a plus (e.g., Vulnerability Management, ChangeManagement, etc.).
