CACI is seeking a Medical Logistics Technician I to join our team at Yokota AB, Japan. This position seeks a self-starter with a strong work ethic and possesses a strong attention to detail that can help our operations continue to run smoothly. You will have an important role in providing much needed support to our CACI mission as a Medical Logistics Technician II providing operations support pertaining to medical logistics. This effort is to support CACI’s Headquarter Air Mobility Command (HQ AMC) contract that reinforces CACI’s position as an industry leader in supporting the operational and IT needs of the federal logistics community.
You will support FM account activities in support of HQ AMC/SGXM
Assure inspection and quality assurance activities are completed for materiel received through DMLSS
You will develop and maintain historical documents related to the program
Provide AMC supported units with status information and verifies when medical materiel is shipped and received
Use and operate Patient Movement Items Tracking System (PMITS) program and provides PMI Program orientation and hands-on PMITS training to co-located Aeromedical Evacuation Units and other medical units
You’ll act as the focal point for Aeromedical Evacuations (AE) units and Critical Care Air Transport (CCATT) teams for Medical Logistics assistance.
Must be able to pass a favorable National Agency Check with Local Law and Credit (NACLC)
Must be a graduate of a Service Medical Materiel Basic Course or possess a minimum of 3 years of Medical Logistics experience
Must be Defense Medical Logistics Support System certified (DMLSS) and use DMLSS to track shipping and receiving status
Processes AE and CCATT shopping guide supply request through DMLSS, and provides requests to HQAMC/SG PMI Center for processing
Staff performing at PMI Centers must be HAZMAT certified and forklift operator qualified
