The Associate Chemist is responsible for the activities necessary for the smooth daily functioning of the laboratory, which includes functions such as:
Analyze and approve raw materials and production samples
Conduct blend corrections to meet product specifications
Perform hand blends for blend corrections or new formulations
Review and release blending shop orders
Capable to operate, troubleshoot, maintain and calibrate lab equipment
Perform and maintain Statistical Quality Control (SQC) charts for all lab equipment
Daily housekeeping and routine maintenance
Support the lab for facility audits by maintaining lab procedures, work instructions and equipment
Report operational issues to lab supervisor and chemist
Complete all necessary paperwork to perform duties as assigned

Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work visa
Must have either 2 years full-time analytical Lab Technician experience (civilian or military) AND an Associates of Science degree OR a Bachelor of Science in Math, Science, or Engineering from a fully accredited institution.
Must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently
Must possess a current, valid driver's license
Must be at least 18 years old
Willing to work outside in inclement weather with or without accommodation
Willing to climb ladders, walk up and down steps, and work at heights with or without accommodation
Willing to work a rotating shift work schedule
Willing to work overtime, holidays, nights, and weekends
Willing to work at least 12 consecutive hours each day and a shift schedule of up to 8 consecutive days
Willing to be on call and meet call-out standards to respond to site responsibilities and emergencies
