Job Description

The Plant Admin provides administrative support for the Houston Lubricant Plant (HLP) including regular administrative support and facility reception duties.

Accountabilities:

  • Schedule meetings & events including logistics & catering requirements

  • Coordination of travel arrangements

  • Data entry & tracking for various site departments including HSSE Leading Indicator program

  • Administration & management of databases, trackers, and filing

  • Follow Shell guidelines for records management and support records focal point at the site

  • Manage badging and security program for employees

  • Admin support at various departmental meetings & workshops

  • Ad hoc admin requests

  • Coordinate and deliver in-house department transfer testing

  • Take monthly Union meeting minutes

  • Backup support to other Admin personnel

  • Maintenance of departmental distribution lists

  • Onboarding/Offboarding support

  • Reception for site visitors, deliveries, tours etc.

Requirements

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in an administrative support role or similar experience.

  • High School or GED required. Bachelor’s degree a preferred.
