Job Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Senior SOX Analyst identifies, documents, tests and remediates potential risk areas and supports the maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 compliance. The Analyst researches of various accounting policies and procedures, including technical accounting research to ensure the company is in compliance with US GAAP.

The person assists in providing information and documentation to internal and external audit requests and help in the implementation of Oracle Financial System to ensure that operational compliance is maintained.

The Global SOX Compliance Analyst at Arrow is typically involved in:

  • Participating in cross-functional teams on accounting & finance special projects that will require gaining an understanding of the business, the processes that support the business and working with other Arrow colleagues to discover the root cause of the issue and develop a reasonable solution

  • Maintaining current awareness and documentation of SOX compliance rules and regulations

  • Filing of compliance project documentation, ensuring adherence to internal retention policies

A FEW THINGS YOU ARE AN EXPERT AT

  • Typically, you would have 2-3 years of previous experience in similar area

  • You have great English skills

  • You are a highly committed team player

  • You are independent individual with decision making attitude

  • It would be common for suitable candidate to have a university degree
