Eaton Corporation Regional Sales Representative - Industrial Plastics in South Carolina,

Eaton’s Hydraulic Fluid Filtration sector is currently seeking a Regional Sales Representative – Industrial Plastics Division to join our team. This is a remote based position covering North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, & Texas.

The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plan for the Industrial Plastics Division (IPD) in conjunction with plant management and other internal/external partners. In this role, you will direct sales to custom plastic extrusion markets such as Interior Furnishings, Construction, packaging, Refrigeration, Electronics, Office Furniture Systems, Automotive, Marine, etc.

  • You will collaborate with plant personnel to develop sales strategy to grow the business in alignment with Divisional sales goals by identifying market opportunities and new customers.

  • You will collect, analyze and utilize competitive intelligence (products, pricing, needs and purchasing habits) to promote growth.

  • You will collaborate with Customer Service and Quality Teams to ensure that customer issues are dealt with quickly and effectively, anticipating, participating and resolving potential customer conflicts

  • You will maintain up to date on knowledge/skills related to plastic extrusion trends and techniques, while educating customers on new developments specific to the customer needs

  • You will identify and develop partners (machinery, material and market) to meet customer needs You will document activity and communicate effectively with plant personnel team to better understand and provide response/service to customers.

  • You will maintain customer database of contacts and quotes.

  • You will operate & maintain computer controlled/automated test equipment and associated software and documentation

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales required

  • Must have valid driver’s license with no restrictions

  • No relocation benefit will be offered for this position. The candidate for the role must presently reside in North Carolina, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, or Texas.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or industrial engineering from an accredited university

  • Master’s or MBA degree

  • 5+ years or sales and/or marketing experience within industrial plastics industry (extruded plastics)

  • Strong knowledge of managing products, product applications and distribution channels preferred.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong project management and organization skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and technical documents.
