Responsible for driving business results by leveraging broad-based knowledge and a high-level of functional expertise. Responsible for proactively identifying key business issues in collaboration with business partners, managing key research priorities/plans and providing actionable recommendations that drive results. Responsible for managing the development of customer-centric intelligence capabilities. Collaborates closely with IT department.
Bachelor's Degree (Required) Marketing
Data Science, Strategic Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master?s degree preferred.
Seven years experience with software applications used for data quantitative and statistical analyses and visualization required. Five years experience leading data mining and analysis projects (planned and ad-hoc) to support management decisions-making required.
Three years predictive, simulation and data modeling experience preferred. Experience leading data mining and analysis projects and presenting management and senior executives required.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Drive organizational strategy to create impactful, sustainable growth; supports strategy implementation.
Champion analytic insights with business teams and build strong cross-functional relationships to drive the business integration of insights.
Provide leadership to establish and implement Company?s customer-centric strategies and initiatives.
Serves as consultant driving value-added insights for independent customers.
Ensure the full utilization and integration of existing research and customer/market knowledge to drive strategy and tactics.
Implement best practices within analytic insights through standardization of methods, tools, and knowledge-sharing to maximize group efficiency and impact; create a data-driven culture.
Responsible to manage and develop the customer-data analytics roadmap objectives related to automated reporting, interactive dashboards, data visulization and advanced analytics (including prescriptive analytics).
Identify internal and extrernal information sources; builds effective working relationships with cross-functional subject matter experts (e.g., IT, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Merchandising, Purchasing, Operations etc).
Partner with IT and other internal groups to address data quality, master data management, data governance and metadata management goals and issues.
Responsible for department management including staffing, training, performance management and career development of associates, and developing and monitoring department goals. Develop and monitor department budget as required.
Provide leadership for internal and external (i.e. analytic vendors, product vendors etc.) resources to support customer data programs.

Knowledge, Skills Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to develop positive working relationships with both internal and external departments and vendors. Extensive experience with analytical, quantitative & statistical approaches to derive insights from large, data sets, solving complex,ambiguous business problems. Expert ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions. Ability to identify opportunities and risks. Experience with marketing databases, segmentation, clustering, profiling and modeling tools as well as web analytics. Analytical problem solving. Project management skills. Attention to detail. Effective and persuasive communication and ability to influence. Intermediate level with running and writing SQL queries. Proficient with MS Office suite and market research software (i.e. SPSS, Spectra, Mapinfo, Oracle, etc). Hands-on experience with reporting, data discovery and visualization tools such as Microstrategy, MS Power BI, Cognos, Tableau or similar. Working knowledge of data warehouses, data modeling and ETL concepts. Working knowledge with statistical software such as R or SAS, scripting languages such as Python. Strong ability to effectively present information to executive leadership and others. Ability to travel up to 25%.
