Bank of America Research & Adjustments Representative II- Collection Services in Greensboro, North Carolina

Job Description:

Resolves research and adjustment inquiries within the bank's practices and procedures. Responsibilities include: investigating daily incoming inquiries and process exceptions; resolves differences; answers requests and inquiries received from various channels; determines accounting entries and makes appropriate disposition; completes quality reviews on peer's work. Maintains internal operational and financial controls and ensures that they are observed for all assigned cases. Ensures that all cases are resolved in compliance with industry regulations and bank procedures, integrity levels of the department's case management system and financial controls. May provide support to and training to other researchers within the department. Has thorough knowledge of the Research & Adjustments function and handles more complex cases which require analytical and problem resolution skills.

  • Professional oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and proven track record of working independently

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and escalate issues and opportunities within a process

  • Demonstrated ability to be resourceful in resolving issues

  • Ability and eagerness to learn

  • Ability to navigate between multiple systems and tasks

  • Quality Review experience

  • One to two years’ experience in similar role

Desired skills:

  • Previous process experience helpful

  • Ability to work effectively in a high demand environment with changing priorities
