Position Description:

Responsible for the sale at auction locations of Auto / RV / Marine and other assigned Bank of America repossessed assets with the objective of achieving the highest overall net value for the asset. Travel frequently to markets on a scheduled basis to dispose of Bank assets. Inspect vehicles at auction, ensure that vehicles are managed in a manner that confirms to corporate and legal guidelines. Adhere to Enterprise and LOB compliance, regulations, and policies. Recommend marketing related efforts to maximize Bank values. Reconcile sold inventory and generate post sale reporting while complying with SLA's. Represent the Bank in a manner that reflects a commitment to "Higher Standards."

Enterprise Role Overview:

Responsible for the day-to-day resolution of complex problems and the execution of complex transactions for multiple sites or larger business unit(s), including research. Leads in the design, development and implementation of complex products, systems and services in an operations environment. Manages projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives of an operations nature. Functions as the technical expert in their assigned area. Major accountabilities are based on individual expertise and capabilities. Provides work direction, guidance and expertise to less experienced associates and provides training to associates and Business Partners on new and complex initiatives. Builds strong relationships with Business Partners across LOBs. Has in-depth understanding of the business unit's operations processes and implications on other groups within the operations function and other divisions within the company. Knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations analysis work. Clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred. Individual typically has 5-7 years of experience.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum five years of related work experience, with at least 1 yr in auto repossession.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Computer knowledge and adaptability to utilize multiple platforms.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate excellent initiative.

  • Ability to travel frequently within a sales rotation.

  • Previous sales experience in an auction environment a must.

  • Ability to negotiate in a high pressure environment.

Desired Skills:

  • ASE certified preferred, CAR (Certified Automotive Remarketer) certification preferred.

  • Experience with auto sales through auctions required or dealer experience is preferred.

  • Familiarity with AutoIMS

Note: this role is preferred to be located on East Coast
