Project Coordinator

JOB SCOPE/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Job Challenges:

To act as the liaison between the Project Manager, the project team, and the client.

Keeping track of project activities

Example of Job Challenges:

Deputizing for Project Managers and clients

Prioritizing multiple activities

SPECIFIC DUTIES: (with % of time for each task totaling 100%)

Establish/practice standard project reporting procedures to client and management (i.e. minutes, agendas, etc.) (20%)

Coordinate and manage project documentation, client shipments, internal files, project binders. (20%)

Attend and assist in key project team meetings, client conferences and on-site visits. Can substitute for Project Manager in leading meetings occasionally as required (15%)

Assist Associate Director, PM; Senior Project Manager; Project Manager(s) within the PDS team in planning, coordinating and tracking functional team activities, timelines & deliverables for each project. (10%)

Support resolution of project issues by assisting in follow-up actions and communication internally & externally. (10%)

May manage 1-2 small projects with minimal technical challenges under the guidance of a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager. (10%)

Assist in the development & maintenance of Microsoft (MS) Project client timelines. (10%)

Coordinate additional project management tasks and responsibilities as required. (5%)

QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Must haves:

Minimum Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or equivalent work experience

Well organized, enthusiastic and detail oriented

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent team player

Able to work in a fast paced environment

Demonstrated commitment to our fundamental principles of Integrity, Respect, & Excellence

Proficiency with English language

B. Wants:

Proficiency using MS Office applications

Experience in a pharmaceutical environment

Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices
