Job Description

SUMMARY

The Project Management Intern will assist the Project Management team in maintaining the current systems used to track projects throughout the site.

Responsibilities

  • Work with project managers to track progress and maintain project schedules.

  • Track and report various project metrics.

  • Develop and write project management plans.

  • Develop and write project management procedures.

  • Attend project meetings, capture and distribute meeting minutes.

  • Assist project managers with the closing phase of projects which includes archiving project documentation and capturing lessons learned.

  • Assist project managers with maintaining the Project Status Board.

  • Evaluate different project management programs and apps for possible use on the Greenville site.

Skills

  • Interest in the field of project management.

  • Able to work on multiple projects concurrently.

  • Motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office365.

Education

  • Second to fourth year student in a technical discipline, preferably engineering but would consider others.
