IBM Business Analyst in GUADALAJARA, Mexico

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Work with End Users and Stakeholders to understand the as-is process and work with them to create the to-be process

• Document the Requirements for the development team.

• Discuss with the development team the best alternatives to fulfill the need from the Business

• Create Acceptance criteria for the User Stories in Gherkin language

• Test the functionality developed by the team to ensure is ready for production.

• Create education material packages for end-users.

• Coordinate rollout of the releases with the different Geos worldwide

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience documenting requirements for software development teams.

• Communication skills – verbal and written, in both business and technical languages, (excellent English)

• Listening skills – ability to listen well to business and IT teams and understand their needs

• Presentation skills – to business teams and development teams

• Confident in dealing with all levels of stakeholders such as project sponsors, subject matter experts, business managers, end-users, administrators, architects, developers, testers, etc

• Agile – experience working in Agile environments, looking to deliver value to the customers early and often, and helping the team and the Product Owner

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• BlueWorksLive or equivalent tool to depict the Business Process

• Gherkin language for creating Acceptance criteria

• Understanding of the Quote-to-cash processes inside IBM

• Understanding of IBM Business Partners ecosystem (example Partnerworld)

• Understanding of User Story mapping techniques (book by Jeff Patton)

• Ability to create Business Cases to demonstrate the value of the functionalities to be implemented.
