Software Developer 3
The Release Readiness team for Oracle Cloud Applications defines and manages content for Oracle customers, partners and lines of business to prepare for new product releases. We provide centralized training and knowledge transfer material to support product release across all SaaS offerings.
We are looking for someone with a good range of skills and a willingness to learn who can support the Release Readiness team.
Develop and test in-house application for Release Readiness content
Debugging & troubleshooting defects, providing quality solutions/fixes
Work closely with leads and other team members to ensure requirements are met and work as specified
Preferred Experience and Skills
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree with at least 4 years of software engineering experience.
You should be passionate about learning new/emerging technologies and have a high technical problem-solving acumen.
You should be able to work in a very dynamic and virtual team environment.
Experience and knowledge of micro services architecture is essential
In addition experience and knowledge of any of the following would be highly desirable

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
