IBM Global Business Services is looking for talented modern Industry consultants to join our Consumer Industry Team (Retail & Consumer Packaged Goods) in Berlin, Cologne, Duesseldorf, Hamburg, Frankfurt a.M., Munich, Ehningen (Stuttgart) or Vienna.

We are seeking highly motivated experts and leaders in business transformation from strategy and business model design, via process design and automation all the way through to systems implementation and operation to join our fast-growing Consumer Industry Team within Global Business Services.
As an Associate Partner, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working with the broader C-Suite to define how emerging technologies can enable disruptive strategies and create business value. You will help our clients rethink their business - guide them through the ideation process, re-imagine their role in the respective industry as well as show them how to use digital to optimize and expand their core business.

We develop strategies that are supported by robust business cases to ensure benefits are realized. We design strategies through a digital lens and leverage the vast range of capabilities within IBM to help our clients succeed.
As an Associate Partner, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting and leading development of new business opportunities
Being a trusted advisor for clients in building a new vision for their company
Overseeing a multi-disciplinary team of talented consultants and managers
Contributing to the growth and eminence of the Consumer Industry through thought leadership and practice development activities
Helping our clients explore disruptive strategies that create business value

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
Extensive commercial in-industry experience working at a Retailer or CPG / Brand with deep functional and/or domain expertise
consulting or other equivalent Industry segment business experience in roles spanning across sales, solutioning and delivery
4 years of involvement in at least one aspect of a digital transformation (e.g. digitizing R&D, business modelling, digital marketing, operation automation, etc.)
4 years of experience driving the sales of strategy engagements
4 years of experience developing proposals and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or in developing and implementing successful concepts and solutions bringing value to your customers
In depth experience working with businesses in the Consumer segment
Willingness to travel (domestically and globally) up to 4 days a week
Fluent in German and English
