CACI is seeking a cleared Systems Administrator in Hampton, VA. The candidate will be supporting the Distributed Ground System systems operations and promoting DGS modernization. Relocation assistance is available!


  • Install, support and maintain servers or other computer systems.

  • Respond to service outages and other problems

  • Work cohesively with other assigned system administrators, engineers, network/communications technicians, contract field service representatives and COTS sustainment support personnel

  • Perform scripting, project management for systems-related activities, working and training with other system administrators.

  • Responsible for user account management to include creation, loading, modifying, deletion and resetting passwords for user accounts.

  • Answer technical queries and serve as a front-line interface to users

  • Monitor server and workstation network status while serving as a member of the Quality Assurance (QA) team that performs testing and validation

  • Routinely perform system checks (processes, services, network, storage) to ascertain overall system health.

  • Conduct systems analysis and development to keep systems as current as possible with changing technology

  • Apply operating system updates and configuration changes.

  • Ensure the integrity of integration, innovation and provisional baselines

  • Support DCGS and Coalition interoperability

  • Collaborate with the security team on system upgrades and issues

  • Update and document configuration management and troubleshoot any reported problems

  • Draft and submit monthly task summaries, trip reports and other required documentation to the Lead System Administrator


  • A current Top-Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access within 90 days of hire.

  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience

  • DODD 8570 certification

  • Security + within 90 days of hire


  • UNIX experience

  • Associates Degree
